Sanofi India appoints Haresh Vala as new company secretary, compliance officer

Sanofi India Limited informed stock exchanges on September 25, 2025, about the resignation of Arjun Thakkar as company secretary and compliance officer, effective September 30, 2025. Thakkar is moving to a new role within the Sanofi group's ethics & business integrity department.

Concurrently, the board of directors approved the appointment of Haresh Vala as the new company secretary and compliance officer, effective October 1, 2025. Vala brings over two decades of post-qualification experience in corporate secretarial and compliance functions across diverse industries, holding degrees in law and commerce.

The board also authorized Vala to determine the materiality of events or information for disclosures to stock exchanges, in addition to other authorized key managerial personnel.
