Sandesh reappoints directors, declares final dividend after annual meeting

Sandesh Limited held its 82nd annual general meeting (AGM) on September 25, 2025, where shareholders approved the re-appointment of Pannaben Falgunbhai Patel as a director. Patel, a non-executive director since 2010, will continue to serve after retiring by rotation. The company also approved the continuation of Falgunbhai C. Patel as chairman & managing director, a position he has held since November 1974. His current term as chairman and managing director runs from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2027.

Shareholders confirmed an interim dividend of INR 2.50 per equity share (face value INR 10) and declared a final dividend of INR 2.50 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. The final dividend will be disbursed on Friday, October 10, 2025, to shareholders recorded as of August 22, 2025.

Additionally, the appointment of M.C. Gupta & Co., practicing company secretary, as the secretarial auditor for a five-year term, from the conclusion of the 82nd AGM until the 87th AGM, was approved. This term covers the financial years 2025-26 through 2029-30.
