Samvardhana Motherson appoints Dinesh Khara as independent director

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited announced the appointment of Dinesh Kumar Khara as an additional director and non-executive independent director, effective September 25, 2025. This decision, based on the recommendation of the nomination and remuneration committee, was approved by the board of directors in a meeting held on the same day.

Mr. Khara's tenure will be for a period of five years, commencing from September 25, 2025, until September 24, 2030, pending shareholder approval. He is not liable to retire by rotation.

Mr. Khara brings nearly 40 years of banking experience, including his tenure as chairman of State Bank of India from October 2020 to August 2024. He holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and a post graduate degree in Commerce from the Delhi School of Economics.
