RITES wins $18m international locomotive supply order from South Africa

RITES Limited has received a letter of award from Talis Logistics, South Africa, for the supply and commissioning of overhauled in-service Cape Gauge ALCO Diesel Electric Locomotives. The contract, valued at $18.00 million (CIF), is an international order, not involving any related party transactions.

The company anticipates completing the delivery of the locomotives within six to eight months from the receipt of an advance payment. This order underscores RITES' growing international presence in the railway sector.
