Kilburn Engineering subsidiary secures ₹80.28 crore in new orders

M.E. Energy Pvt. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kilburn Engineering Ltd., has secured orders totaling ₹80.28 crore in the current quarter. These new contracts consolidate its position as a key partner in energy recovery and industrial heating solutions. The company's managing director, K. Vijay Kartha, highlighted that these wins underscore M.E. Energy's leadership in both innovative waste heat recovery and reliable industrial heating systems.

A substantial order valued at ₹51 crore marks M.E. Energy's entry into the ferro alloys sector. This project involves the execution of a 12 MW Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) based Power Plant, designed to generate clean energy from high-temperature furnace flue gases using two Waste Heat Recovery Boilers (WHRB) and a captive power system. This expansion diversifies M.E. Energy's reach beyond its traditional sectors like oil & gas, cement, and steel.

Additionally, M.E. Energy received a repeat order worth ₹17.7 crore from Shree Cement Limited. This order involves the supply, installation, and commissioning of non-conventional biomass fuel (paddy straw) fired Hot Air Generator (HAG) systems for grinding units in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, further demonstrating client trust and the company’s strong execution capabilities in industrial heating solutions.
