JSW Energy subsidiary challenges regulatory order in Supreme Court

JSW Energy Limited announced its step-down subsidiary, JSW Renew Energy Five Limited (JSWREL), filed a Civil Appeal before the Supreme Court of India on September 24, 2025. This action challenges an order from the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) dated September 12, 2025.

The APTEL order had dismissed JSWREL's appeal against a Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) order from January 2, 2025. The ongoing legal challenge pertains to this CERC order, with JSWREL now seeking a resolution from the Supreme Court.
