Brightcom Group launches defence vertical, postpones AGM

Brightcom Group Limited, in a board meeting on September 25, 2025, reported substantial progress in its newly established defence vertical. Key developments include the appointment of a respected advisor, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with U.S.-based CQT Weapon Systems for tactical hardware and AI-enabled systems collaboration, and the presentation of a UAV portfolio, including a proprietary defence intelligence platform.

The board noted that these material advancements will require shareholder approval, prompting the postponement of the annual general meeting (AGM) originally scheduled for September 28, 2025. A revised AGM date will be announced following the completion of regulatory filings.

The defence portfolio encompasses UAVs like RAVEN for strategic ISR, HELIX FPV Series for tactical strike, THUNDERBOLT for payload delivery, and TIBURON for long-range reconnaissance. These systems boast features such as AI-powered operating systems, multi-UAV orchestration, and advanced computer vision, with capabilities for varied endurance and payload capacities, including RAVEN's 8-10 hours flight and 11-19 kg payload.
