Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. announces five new director appointments

Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. has announced significant changes to its directorate, with five new appointments approved at its 108th Annual General Meeting held on September 23, 2025. Amit Bansal and Rajeev Kumar have been appointed as government nominee directors. Bansal's term runs from October 25, 2024, to December 31, 2024, while Kumar's term begins July 1, 2025, and extends until June 18, 2028, or until further orders from the administrative ministry.

Additionally, Harishkumar Madhusudan Joshi and Dr. Vandana Minda Heda have been appointed as non-executive independent directors, both with effect from March 31, 2025, for a period of one year. Romon Sebastian Louis has been appointed as a wholetime director for director (service businesses) for a period of five years from August 22, 2025, with a pay scale of INR 1,60,000 – 2,90,000. All appointments are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the respective letters from the administrative ministry and regulatory compliance.
