Nilkamal shareholders approve independent director via postal ballot

Nilkamal Limited announced the successful outcome of its postal ballot, where shareholders approved the appointment of Gautam G. Chakravarti (DIN 00004399) as a non-executive independent director. The resolution passed with requisite majority, as confirmed by the scrutinizer's report dated September 24, 2025.

The remote e-voting process, which commenced on August 25, 2025, and concluded on September 23, 2025, saw significant participation. Out of 11,974,499 total votes polled, 11,974,189 votes were cast in favor of the resolution, representing 99.9974% of the valid votes cast. Only 310 votes, or 0.0026%, were cast against the resolution. The total number of members on record date (August 15, 2025) was 22,660.
