Hindustan Motors strengthens board with new appointments, re-appoints independent director

Hindustan Motors Limited, during its 83rd annual general meeting (AGM) on September 24, 2025, approved several key appointments. M/s. RBM & Associates was appointed as the secretarial auditors for five consecutive years, covering financial years 2025-26 through 2029-30.

The company also re-appointed Om Prakash Gupta as an independent director for a second five-year term, effective from September 24, 2025, to September 23, 2030. Gupta brings extensive experience in administration, criminal investigation, and intelligence collection, having previously served as an executive director in the Emami Group and a senior IPS officer.

Further strengthening its board, Hindustan Motors appointed Sourav Daspatnaik as a non-executive independent director for a five-year term, and Mou Mukherjee as a non-executive non-independent director, both effective from September 24, 2025. Daspatnaik is an engineer and management professional with 37 years of cross-functional experience, while Mukherjee offers expertise in finance, accounts, taxation, and strategic business development.
