Cummins India withholds dividends for shareholders without updated KYC details

Cummins India Limited has informed shareholders that the final dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2025, will be withheld for those with physical shareholdings who have not updated their Know Your Customer (KYC) details. This decision follows SEBI Master Circulars, which mandate that shareholders must update PAN, contact information (address, mobile, email), bank account details (name, number, IFSC code), and specimen signatures to be eligible for electronic payments, including dividends, with effect from April 1, 2024.

The company's shareholders approved a final dividend of INR 33.50 per equity share (face value INR 2 each) at the 64th Annual General Meeting held on August 8, 2025. Individual physical letters have been sent to affected shareholders, informing them about the non-submission of KYC details and requesting updates with MUFG Intime India Private Limited (formerly Link Intime India Private Limited), the company's registrar and transfer agents. The dividend will only be released electronically upon successful completion of the KYC requirements.

Shareholders can access necessary forms (ISR-1, ISR-2, ISR-3, SH-13, SH-14) on the registrar and transfer agent's website or directly via specified links. Completed forms, along with self-attested proofs, should be sent to MUFG Intime India Private Limited at C 101, Embassy 247, L B S Marg, Vikhroli West, Mumbai 400 083. The company emphasizes that this action ensures compliance with SEBI regulations regarding investor protection and digital payment mandates.
