Zuari Agro Chemicals concludes AGM, approves strategic asset sale

Zuari Agro Chemicals Limited held its 16th annual general meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, via video conferencing. The meeting, which commenced at 2:30 P.M. IST and concluded at 3:08 P.M. IST, addressed several ordinary and special business items. Shareholders approved the audited standalone and consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025.

Key decisions included the re-appointment of Athar Shahab as a director and the ratification of remuneration for S.S. Sonthalia & Co., cost auditor. Shareholders also approved the appointment of Shivaram Bhat as secretarial auditor for a five-year term from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2030.

Significant special resolutions passed involved the enhancement of limits for investments, loans, and guarantees under Section 186 of the Companies Act, 2013. Additionally, the slump sale of the company's granulated single super phosphate plant and associated business to Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited was approved.
