SBI Cards appoints new joint statutory auditors for FY26

SBI Cards and Payment Services Limited has announced the appointment of M/s. V.K. Dhingra & Co. and M/s. S.P. Chopra & Co., both chartered accountants, as the joint statutory auditors for the financial year 2025-26. This appointment is effective from September 23, 2025, and follows approvals from both firms, as detailed in their letters dated September 23, 2025. The decision was made pursuant to Regulation 30 and 51 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and was issued by the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) via letter dated September 10, 2025.

M/s. V.K. Dhingra & Co., established in 1973, brings 52 years of experience with 13 partners, including 12 FCAs and 1 ACA. Their extensive audit experience spans 42 years with Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), including Navratna and Mini Ratna-I enterprises, as well as 14 years in central statutory audits of public sector banks and 26 years in branch audits. The firm also possesses capabilities in Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAAT) and SAP/ERP software audits.

M/s. S.P. Chopra & Co., a partnership firm since 1949 (established as a proprietary concern in 1938), boasts 76 years of existence and 12 partners. The firm has been peer-reviewed up to the year 2023-24 by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Their empanelements include the C&AG since 1956 and the Reserve Bank of India since 1970. This dual appointment aims to enhance the company's financial governance and audit processes.
