REC appoints new executive director, Prince Dhawan, to senior management

REC Limited has announced the appointment of Shri Prince Dhawan, IAS, as the executive director of the company, effective September 23, 2025. This change falls under the "senior management (one level below Board of Directors)" category, as per Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Shri Prince Dhawan is an IAS officer from the 2012 Batch of the AGMUT cadre. He holds both bachelor's and master's degrees from IIT Delhi, along with a master's in public administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, Cambridge, USA. Prior to joining REC, Shri Dhawan served as the managing director (DTC) and special commissioner (transport) for the Government of NCT of Delhi.

The company confirmed that there are no disclosures regarding relationships between directors concerning this appointment. This strategic appointment aims to bolster REC's executive leadership.
