Rajoo Engineers appoints Lakshmi Ramakrishnan as independent director, Laxman Ajagiya exits board

Rajoo Engineers Limited announced on September 23, 2025, the appointment of Lakshmi Ramakrishnan as an additional director (independent), designated as non-executive director, for a five-year term, effective immediately. This appointment follows the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and is subject to shareholder approval. Ramakrishnan brings over 28 years of experience across manufacturing, engineering, and retail sectors, including serving as chief executive of Essen Speciality Films Pvt. Ltd. from 2004 to 2020, where she managed operations with an annual turnover exceeding Rs. 100 Crores.

Concurrently, Laxman Rudabhai Ajagiya will cease to be an independent director, effective at the close of business hours on September 24, 2025, upon completing his second five-year term. Following his cessation, Ajagiya will also step down from the Audit, Nomination and Remuneration, and Stakeholders Relationship Committees.

In light of these changes, the board has reconstituted its Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and Stakeholders Relationship Committee. The Audit Committee now includes Sureshchandra Gokaldas Vaja (chairperson), Pratik Rajendrabhai Kothari (member), CA Jinal Hasmukhbhai Rupani (member), and Dr. Shital Bharatkumar Badshah (member).
