Kamat Hotels expands portfolio with two new openings in 2025

Kamat Hotels (India) Limited (KHIL) announced the opening of "The Orchid Rishivan Hotel, Rishikesh" and "IRA by Orchid Hotel, Hyderabad" on September 22, 2025. These new properties collectively add 117 new keys to KHIL’s portfolio, strengthening its presence across North and South India.

The Orchid Rishivan Hotel, Rishikesh, operating under a revenue sharing model, features 54 rooms and offers amenities such as a spa, swimming pool, recreation center, conference room, and yoga space. IRA by Orchid Hotel, Hyderabad, operating under a leased model, provides 63 modern rooms and contemporary dining facilities.

Dr. Vithal Venkatesh Kamat, executive chairman & managing director of KHIL, highlighted the dual focus on eco-luxury in Rishikesh and expanding the contemporary hospitality brand in Hyderabad.
