IRCTC names Manoj Kumar Sharma director of catering services

Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) announced that Manoj Kumar Sharma has taken charge as director of catering services on a regular basis, effective September 22, 2025. This appointment follows a letter from the Railway Board (Government of India).

Sharma, an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer from the 1995 Batch, has been with IRCTC since March 12, 2024, as group general manager/North Zone. With 28 years of experience, his background includes marketing, business development, operations, and project development across four zones of Indian Railways.

IRCTC confirmed that Sharma is not debarred from holding the office of director by any SEBI order and is not related to any director or KMP of the company. He also does not hold any equity shares in IRCTC. The updated board of directors now includes Sanjay Kumar Jain as chairman & managing director, Sudhir Kumar as director (finance), Rahul Himalian as director (tourism & marketing), and Manoj Kumar Sharma as director (catering services).
