Greaves Cotton appoints new VP for energy solutions

Greaves Cotton Limited has appointed Swarnendu Jha as the new vice president – energy solutions, effective September 22, 2025. This appointment was made pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Following Jha's appointment, Abhijit Joshi, previously head – marketing and sales, will now report to Jha and will no longer be classified as senior management personnel under listing regulations, also effective September 22, 2025. Jha brings over 26 years of experience in the power generation industry, having worked with prominent organizations such as Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited and Cummins India Limited. He holds a bachelor of engineering in mechanical from SES College of Engineering, University of Pune, and a PG diploma in sales & marketing from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, Pune.
