Fusion Finance earns highest MFI 1 rating from CARE Edge

Fusion Finance Limited (formerly Fusion Micro Finance Limited) announced today that CARE Edge Analytics & Advisory, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CARE Ratings Ltd., has assigned it an "MFI 1" (MFI One) grading. This assessment signifies the "Highest capacity to manage their microfinance operations in a sustainable manner." The grading was confirmed on September 17th, 2025, with Fusion Finance receiving the confirmation on September 19th, 2025.

The "MFI 1" grading is a one-time assessment valid until September 16th, 2026. It is specific to the organization, not to any debt instrument or borrowing program, and is intended for institutional investors/lenders. It is not to be used for raising funds from the public.

This top rating reflects the company's operational and financial capability to undertake and sustain its targeted level of microfinance operations. CARE Edge Analytics & Advisory defines "MFI 1" as denoting the highest capacity in microfinance management.
