Easy Trip Planners boosts stake in Eco Hotels

Easy Trip Planners Ltd. (ETPL) has approved participation in the rights issue of Eco Hotels and Resorts Limited ("Eco Hotels"), submitting an application for subscription to 1,000,000 equity shares at INR 15.20 per share. This investment, payable in tranches, will result in ETPL acquiring a 7.77% stake in Eco Hotels, a move aimed at expanding its investment in eco-friendly and green hotels.

Eco Hotels, incorporated in India in 1987, reported turnovers of INR 0.78 Lakhs in FY 2022-23, INR 1.39 Lakhs in FY 2023-24, and INR 13.71 Lakhs in FY 2024-25. The transaction is categorized as a related party transaction due to an independent director's involvement, but it was conducted on an arm's length basis.
