Cyient appoints Sunil R. Bhumralkar as independent director

Cyient Limited has announced the appointment of Sunil R. Bhumralkar as an independent director for a term of three years, effective September 19, 2025. This appointment was based on the recommendation of the leadership, nomination and remuneration committee and subsequently approved by the board of directors, pending shareholder approval. The company confirmed that Bhumralkar is not debarred from holding the office of director by any SEBI order.

Bhumralkar brings over 38 years of professional experience in assurance and financial accounting advisory services, gained from working with Big 4 accounting and auditing firms. He is also a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The company clarified that Bhumralkar is not related to any existing directors, key managerial personnel, promoters, or the promoter group of Cyient.
