Biocon Limited successfully completed the buyback of commercial papers (CPs) totaling ₹600 crores, with both the buyback and payment occurring on September 19, 2025. The CPs, with ISIN INE376G14032, were initially issued on April 22, 2025, to refinance existing borrowings. This action aligns with the SEBI Master Circular dated May 22, 2024, concerning the issue and listing of non-convertible securities.

The company certified that the CPs were utilized for their disclosed purposes and that Biocon adheres to all listing conditions. Furthermore, it confirmed compliance with the offer document and CP issuance directions. The asset classification of fund-based facilities from banks and financial institutions remains "Standard," and there have been no material changes in Biocon's financial status that would adversely affect the credit rating of the CPs.
