Tata Steel announces senior leadership appointments in operations

Tata Steel Limited has announced significant leadership changes within its operations. Mr. Uttam Singh, currently vice president operations (Tata Steel Meramandali), will be re-designated as vice president operations (Tata Steel Kalinganagar) with effect from December 1, 2025.

Concurrently, Mr. Sudhir Mehta will be appointed as vice president operations (Tata Steel Meramandali) - designate, effective November 15, 2025, transitioning to vice president operations (Tata Steel Meramandali) from December 1, 2025.

Mr. Singh, an IIT BHU and XLRI alumnus, has served Tata Steel for 25 years, contributing significantly to blast furnace operations and receiving the "2014 TSL New Millennium Award." Mr. Mehta, also an IIT BHU graduate, joined Tata Steel in 1998 and has held various leadership roles, currently serving as the managing director of NINL since July 2022.
