Sasken partners with VicOne to enhance automotive cybersecurity

Sasken Technologies Limited has entered a strategic partnership with VicOne, a Trend Micro subsidiary and automotive cybersecurity solutions leader, to bolster end-to-end cybersecurity for global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. Announced on September 18, 2025, this collaboration aims to address the growing cyber threats in connected vehicles and EV infrastructure.

The partnership leverages VicOne's end-to-end automotive cybersecurity solution, which includes xCarbon (in-vehicle intrusion detection and prevention), vSOC (fleet monitoring), and EVSE Security (EV charging infrastructure protection). Sasken will contribute its three decades of engineering, validation, and system integration expertise to co-sell, integrate, and operationalize these solutions, enabling scaled cybersecurity deployment across ECUs, operating systems, and cloud systems.

The collaboration also involves exchanging competencies, with Sasken engineers receiving training on core VicOne technologies to facilitate advanced automotive security options for higher-level platforms, OEMs, operating systems, and services. This initiative seeks to provide a future-ready cybersecurity framework, accelerating compliance and protecting users in the connected and electric mobility ecosystem.
