Mukka Proteins expands business scope into insect ingredients, agri-services

Mukka Proteins Limited announced that its shareholders, at the 15th annual general meeting on September 18, 2025, approved the appointment of M/s. Chethan Nayak & Associates as secretarial auditors for five consecutive years, from the financial year 2025-2026 to 2029-2030. M/s. Chethan Nayak & Associates is a peer-reviewed firm registered with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Additionally, shareholders approved alterations to the object clause of the company's Memorandum of Association. The amendments expand Mukka Proteins' business activities to include manufacturing, importing, exporting, and dealing in ingredients from insects for human and animal consumption, waste management, and the production of value-added products from waste.

The expanded scope also encompasses manufacturing, processing, and trading in humic acid, fulvic acid, organic and inorganic compost, fertilizers, and other organic soil conditioners for agricultural and industrial applications. Furthermore, the company will engage in cultivating, processing, and marketing various agricultural products, including grains, cereals, pulses, oilseeds, and spices, along with providing allied agri-services.
