Metro Brands reappoints director, appoints new secretarial auditor

Metro Brands Limited shareholders, at their 48th Annual General Meeting on September 18, 2025, approved the re-appointment of Mohammed Iqbal Hasanally Dossani as a whole-time director for five years, effective June 25, 2026. Dossani, a director since November 26, 2020, has been instrumental in launching Biofoot and spearheading CRM and RFID adoption.

Additionally, shareholders approved the appointment of CS Sekar Ananthanarayan as the secretarial auditor for five consecutive years, from FY 2025-26 to FY 2029-30, commencing August 07, 2025. This appointment ensures continued regulatory compliance and robust governance.

The AGM also included the approval of the company's standalone and consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, and the declaration of a final dividend of ₹2.50 per share of ₹5 each. The company reported revenue growth of 6.4% to ₹2,507 crores and EBITDA of ₹760 crores for FY 2024-25.
