Maruti Suzuki cuts car prices following GST rate reductions

Maruti Suzuki India Limited will reduce automobile prices, effective September 22, 2025, to reflect lower GST rates and provide a boost to the Indian Passenger Vehicle Industry. The company aims to pass on the full benefit of these revisions directly to customers, aligning with new GST regulations.

Several models will see price reductions, with the S-Presso experiencing the largest cut of up to INR 129,600 from a starting price of INR 349,900. Other significant reductions include the Alto K10 (up to INR 107,600 from INR 369,900), the Celerio (up to INR 94,100 from INR 469,900), and the Wagon-R (up to INR 79,600 from INR 498,900). The Ignis will also see a reduction of up to INR 71,300 from its starting price of INR 535,100.

Additional models impacted include the Swift (up to INR 84,600), Baleno (up to INR 86,100), Dzire (up to INR 87,700), and Brezza (up to INR 112,700), with respective starting prices of INR 578,900, INR 598,900, INR 625,600, and INR 825,900.
