Cosmic CRF expands railway components manufacturing with new forging facility

On September 17, 2025, Cosmic CRF Limited announced a new strategic greenfield project for a state-of-the-art forging facility, to be established by its subsidiary, M/s. Cosmic Springs & Engineers Limited (CSEL). CSEL received physical possession of a 0.82-acre industrial land parcel on September 16, 2025, for this project.

The new facility is designed to manufacture precision-engineered forging components for railway wagons, defence, and industrial applications, with a proposed installed capacity of approximately 11,000 TPA. Production is expected to commence within six months, following the placement of machinery orders. The product portfolio will include high-quality iron and steel components such as Yoke Pin Support, Back-stop, and Lock Lift Lever Hook, among others, for railway and defence use.

This expansion aligns with Cosmic CRF's vision to become India's largest railway components solutions provider, enhancing its ability to deliver innovative components and broadening its market reach. The company, along with its subsidiaries, boasts a total installed capacity of 1,24,400 MTPA.
