TVS Motor launches CNG 3-wheeler in Tanzania

TVS Motor Company has launched the TVS King Deluxe Plus CNG 3-Wheeler in Tanzania, partnering with its distributor Car & General. The announcement, made on September 17, 2025, at the Dar Es Salaam Gymkhana Sports Club, highlights the company's commitment to delivering innovative and durable products in a priority market. This new vehicle aims to address the dynamic requirements of urban and semi-urban mobility, offering an affordable, durable, and fuel-efficient option amidst rising fuel prices.

The TVS King Deluxe Plus CNG 3-Wheeler features premium specifications including a king-size driver seat, strong chassis and body with heavy-duty pillars, tubeless tires with gold-colored rims, a 5 KG CNG tank, an 8-litre petrol fuel tank, and a stronger, longer steering column. TVS Motor Company sees Tanzania as a hub for opportunity and growth, emphasizing the vehicle's role in providing economic and environmental advantages to drivers and fleet owners.

The product will be available across Dar Es Salaam through TVS Motor's 33 dealers and sales touch points, supported by 50 service centers. The company, which sells products in over 80 countries, underscored its legacy of trust and commitment to customer experience.
