Shilchar Technologies to expand Gujarat plant capacity by 6,500 MVA

Shilchar Technologies Limited has disclosed plans for a substantial capacity expansion at its existing plant located in Gavasad, Vadodara, Gujarat. The company currently operates with an existing capacity of 7,500 MVA, which is at 100% utilization.

The proposed addition will increase the capacity by 6,500 MVA. This expansion is targeted for completion by April 2027 and is estimated to require an investment of approximately Rs. 90 crores. The company intends to fund this investment through internal funds.

This strategic move is being undertaken to meet growing customer demand. The disclosure was made pursuant to Regulation 30 and 30A of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and a SEBI circular dated July 13, 2023.
