Jindal Worldwide reappoints chairman, names new auditors

Jindal Worldwide Limited announced on September 17, 2025, that its shareholders, at the 39th annual general meeting held on September 16, 2025, approved the re-appointment of Dr. Yamunadutt Agrawal as chairman and director. Dr. Agrawal will continue in his role, liable to retire by rotation under Section 152 of the Companies Act, 2013, with terms as previously approved by the board. He brings approximately 51 years of experience in the textile industry and is related to Amit Agarwal, the vice chairman and managing director.

In addition to the director's re-appointment, shareholders also approved the appointment of new auditors. M/s. R. Choudhary & Associates, chartered accountants, have been appointed as statutory auditors for a term of five consecutive years, covering fiscal years 2025-2026 to 2029-2030. Furthermore, M/s. SPANJ & Associates, company secretaries, were appointed as secretarial auditors for the same five-year period, from FY 2025-2026 to FY 2029-2030.

These decisions, outlined in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, were formally communicated to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited. The voting results for these resolutions were announced on September 17, 2025.
