Cosmic CRF subsidiary to build new forging components plant

Cosmic CRF Limited announced that its subsidiary, Cosmic Springs & Engineers Limited (CSEL), will set up a greenfield plant for manufacturing forging components. The board of directors of Cosmic CRF approved the proposed investment on May 23, 2025. This new plant will have a proposed installed capacity of approximately 11,000 TPA.

The project will be located at Mouza Baniara, Domjur, District-Howrah, West Bengal, on 0.82 acres of freehold industrial land. CSEL received physical possession of this land on September 16, 2025. The manufacturing plant is expected to commence operations within six months from the date of the announcement, subject to regulatory formalities and shareholder approval.

CSEL, incorporated on June 6, 2024, with a paid-up share capital of Rs. 1.77 Crores, generated a turnover of Rs. 8.32 Crores for the financial year 2024-25. Cosmic CRF holds a 91.70% equity stake in CSEL, which is primarily engaged in manufacturing railway wagon components.
