SJS Enterprises and BOE Varitronix partner on automotive displays in India

S.J.S. Enterprises Limited announced on September 16, 2025, that it has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with BOE Varitronix Limited of Hong Kong. This collaboration aims to manufacture automotive displays within India, marking a strategic move to localize production.

The MoU outlines the transfer of technology from BOEVX to SJS for establishing assembly and optical bonding facilities for display screens. This includes localizing the production of cover glass and backlight units specifically for the four-wheeler automotive market in India. The arrangement is contingent on a successful feasibility study and necessary approvals, with formalization expected through a technical assistance agreement (TAA) or a joint venture.

The agreement includes a six-month mutual exclusivity clause, with the possibility of extension. Further disclosures will be made as material developments occur. The transaction is not categorized as a related-party transaction and does not involve any current shareholding by BOEVX in SJS.
