REC reappoints statutory auditors for fiscal year 2025-26

REC Limited, a Government of India Enterprise, announced on September 16, 2025, the appointment of its statutory auditors for the fiscal year 2025-26. The Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) of India conveyed the appointments via a letter dated September 10, 2025, received by REC on September 15, 2025, exercising powers under Section 139 of the Companies Act, 2013.

The two firms re-appointed as statutory auditors are M/s. Kailash Chand Jain & Co., and M/s. SCV & Co LLP. Both firms had previously served as statutory auditors for the preceding two financial years.

M/s. Kailash Chand Jain & Co., established in 1990, operates with 14 partners across five offices in India, offering professional services including audit, financial consulting, and tax advisory. M/s. SCV & Co. LLP is a professional services firm comprising over 350 team members and 14 partners across five offices, specializing in assurance, risk advisory, tax advisory, corporate advisory, and outsourcing.
