Ranjan's Union Bank term extension now official

Union Bank of India has informed exchanges about the extension of the term of office for Shri Ramasubramanian S., executive director of the bank. This extension was communicated through a notification from the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, dated September 15, 2025.

The current term of Shri Ramasubramanian S. was set to conclude on November 20, 2025. With this new directive, his tenure as executive director has been extended beyond this date until his superannuation, which is scheduled for June 30, 2027, or until further orders, whichever occurs earlier. This decision was formally announced on September 16, 2025.

The announcement was digitally signed by Mangesh Mandrekar, company secretary, on September 16, 2025. The communication was directed to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd.
