RailTel secures significant smart classroom project in Bihar

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has been awarded a new domestic order by the Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited. The project involves the development of hybrid smart classrooms and ICT labs across various colleges and universities in Bihar, falling under the PM-USHA Scheme. The estimated value of this supply order is INR 57,48,88,000.

The order is expected to be executed by March 16, 2026. This development was communicated on September 16, 2025, with the work order officially received on the same day. RailTel confirmed that neither its promoters, promoter group, nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction does not constitute a related party transaction.
