LIC increases stake in Tech Mahindra, crosses 10% holding

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has disclosed a substantial acquisition of shares in Tech Mahindra Ltd. The acquisition period spanned from June 6, 2023, to September 15, 2025, conducted via market purchase.

Prior to this acquisition, LIC held 86,558,538.00 shares, representing 8.836% of Tech Mahindra's total share/voting capital. The latest disclosure indicates an acquisition of 19,628,171.00 shares, which accounts for 2.004% of the company's capital.

Following these transactions, LIC's total holding in Tech Mahindra now stands at 106,186,709.00 shares, translating to 10.840% of the total equity share capital. The total equity share capital of Tech Mahindra remains constant at INR 4,89,60,39,425.00.
