Izmomicro unveils breakthrough in high-power motor control

Izmomicro, a division of Izmo Ltd., revealed a breakthrough in high-power motor control technology with the launch of its new Galvanic Isolated Hex Bridge Inverter. This innovation is designed for demanding industrial, electric vehicle, and next-generation energy applications. The inverter delivers 100 amps of continuous current at 48 VDC and ensures galvanic isolation for enhanced safety and reliability.

The system integrates power electronics, isolation technology, and advanced motor control logic, addressing the need for compact, high-efficiency, and high-safety motor control solutions. It has already been shipped to a major public sector manufacturer, validating its performance in critical applications. Sanjay Soni, managing director of Izmo Ltd., emphasized that this technology will power India's expanding industrial and EV ecosystem.

The global power electronics market is projected to exceed $40 bn by 2030, with India's EV sector alone expected to grow at a 49% CAGR between 2023 and 2030. Izmomicro, specializing in silicon photonics packaging and semiconductor system integration, aims to leverage its design expertise for high-volume production in automotive, automation, and energy industries.
