Bank of Baroda extends executive director tenures

Bank of Baroda has announced the extension of the terms of office for two of its executive directors. The central government, through a notification dated September 15, 2025, extended the tenure of Lalit Tyagi, executive director, for a period of three years beyond his currently notified term, which ends on November 20, 2025. Tyagi will continue in his role until further orders or the completion of this extended period, whichever is earlier.

Similarly, the term of Sanjay Vinayak Mudaliar, executive director, has also been extended by the central government, effective September 15, 2025. His tenure, which was set to conclude on December 31, 2025, will now continue until his superannuation date of July 31, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

These extensions were made in exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970.
