Wipro and CrowdStrike launch new AI-powered security service

Wipro Limited announced on September 15, 2025, an expanded partnership with CrowdStrike to launch Wipro CyberShield™ MDR, an AI-powered unified managed security service (MSS). This new service aims to simplify and strengthen enterprise security operations by providing enhanced visibility, AI-driven automation, and greater efficiency through a modern SOC.

CyberShield MDR, powered by CrowdStrike Falcon® Next-Gen SIEM, addresses challenges such as alert overload from siloed security tools and fragmented operations across endpoints, cloud workloads, and identity. It leverages native Falcon platform data and third-party data with real-time threat intelligence to supercharge detection and response, supported by Wipro Ventures' portfolio companies Simbian and Tuskira. Wipro's cybersecurity experts will manage these services from eight global Cyber Defense Centers.

Tony Buffomante, senior vice president & global head – cybersecurity & risk services at Wipro, stated that the platform will help enterprises contain threats swiftly and ensure business continuity. Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike, highlighted that the Falcon platform will enhance Wipro's CyberShield managed security services for real-time attack detection and faster breach response, simplifying operations and reducing costs for customers.
