Tejas Networks appoints Randhir Thakur as additional director

Tejas Networks Ltd. has appointed Dr. Randhir Thakur as an additional director, effective September 15, 2025. Dr. Thakur will serve in a non-executive and non-independent capacity, subject to shareholder approval. The decision was made via a board resolution following a recommendation from the nomination and remuneration committee.

Dr. Thakur brings over 40 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, specializing in manufacturing, research and development, and P&L management. He has been the chief executive officer and managing director of Tata Electronics Limited since April 2023, and a board member of TEL since April 2021. An IEEE Fellow since 2013, Dr. Thakur holds more than 300 patents and has a strong background in product development, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, process technology, and ecosystem collaboration.

His prior roles include president of Intel Foundry Services and corporate vice president and chief supply chain officer at Intel Corp. He also held leadership positions at Applied Materials, SanDisk, Steag Electronic Systems, and Micron Technology. Dr. Thakur holds a bachelor's degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering, a master's degree in electronics engineering, and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering. There is no inter-se relationship between Dr. Thakur and any other director of the company.
