HUDCO re-appoints Baldeo Purushartha as government nominee director

HUDCO’s Board of Directors, via a resolution passed by circulation on September 15, 2025, approved the re-appointment of Baldeo Purushartha as government nominee director, effective immediately. Purushartha, holding DIN: 07570116, serves as joint secretary in the Infrastructure Policy and Planning Division, Department of Economic Affairs. This re-appointment follows the conclusion of his previous tenure, which ended on the same date as the company's 55th Annual General Meeting.

The initial appointment of Purushartha as government nominee director was approved by the board on September 8, 2025, with immediate effect, as per a Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs order dated August 26, 2025. This information was disclosed in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Purushartha does not hold any shares in HUDCO, is not inter-se related with other directors on the board, and is not debarred from holding a directorship by any SEBI order or other authority. He is a 2002 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, currently joint secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, and represents the Government of India on the boards of several Central Public Sector Enterprises.
