cochin shipyard bolsters leadership with eight new general managers

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has announced the promotion of eight officials to senior management positions (general manager - E7 level), effective September 15, 2025. This strategic move aims to strengthen the company's leadership across various critical functions.

The newly appointed general managers bring extensive experience, with individual tenures at CSL ranging from eight to 29 years and total industry experience of 22 to 34 years. The promotions cover key areas including technical, materials, OSD-BD SB, ship repair, basic design, defence projects I, QC & T, and design.

The appointees include Sreekumar Raja C A (technical), A Vettriselvan (materials), Nagesh Krishna Moorthy (OSD-BD SB), Sanil Peter (ship repair), Jathesh Chandra Gopinathan (basic design), Suresh Babu V (defence projects I), Anoop Das (QC & T), and Binoj Shankar (design). Their diverse expertise is expected to contribute significantly to CSL's ongoing projects and operational efficiency.
