Prism Johnson boosts cement production, grinding capacity

Prism Johnson Limited has announced an update on its manufacturing tie-up, revealing an increase in cement production capacity through its association with RLJ Cement Limited. RLJ Cement Limited has completed an enhancement in its cement production capacity by 0.204 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) at its Mirzapur Plant in Uttar Pradesh, which is now operational. This brings RLJ's total cement production capacity to 0.50 MTPA, against a planned enhancement of 0.36 MTPA.

In addition to this, Prism Johnson Limited has expanded its outsourced grinding capacity. The company's grinding capacity, achieved through supply agreements with several grinding units, has increased from 1.17 MTPA to 1.37 MTPA. This strategic expansion is set to bolster Prism Johnson's ability to manufacture and supply cement as per its quality specifications, supporting onward sales to its customers.

These developments were disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company, via shailesh dholakia, company secretary and compliance officer, has requested that these updates be taken on record.
