3M India settles tax dispute, secures refund of Rs 1.06 Crs

3M India Limited has received a final order for the full and final settlement of tax arrears for the financial year (FY) 2006-07. The settlement was made under the "Direct Tax Vivad Se Vishwas Scheme, 2024," as conveyed by the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Bengaluru – 2.

The company had previously opted for the Scheme to address open tax litigations spanning from FY 2004-05 to FY 2013-14. As a result of this settlement, 3M India is due a refund of Rs 1.06 Crs for the FY 2006-07 period.

3M India confirmed that this settlement will have no material impact on its operations or activities. The final order was received on September 12, 2025.
