Vashu Bhagnani Industries invests INR 50 crore in UAE subsidiary Modern Productions

On September 13, 2025, the board of directors of Vashu Bhagnani Industries Limited approved an additional investment of up to INR 50,00,00,000 in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Modern Productions FZ LLC, UAE. This related party transaction received prior approval from the audit committee.

The investment aims to enhance the subsidiary's working capital and facilitate entry into new business ventures, particularly within the real estate activities sector. Modern Productions FZ LLC, incorporated on June 15, 2018, is engaged in the production and distribution of motion pictures, movies, videos, and television programs. Total assets for the subsidiary as of March 31, 2025, were reported as INR 37,76,42,871.

This capital infusion, comprising INR 10 crore by advancing a loan and INR 40 crore by subscribing to shares, represents 100% of the subsidiary's shareholding. The acquisition is expected to be completed within fiscal year 2025-26. The subsidiary's turnover for FY 2024-25 was INR 688.01 lakhs, showing growth from INR 356.19 lakhs in FY 2023-24 and INR 620.64 lakhs in FY 2022-23.
