Valiant Mauritius Partners acquires 7.74% stake in Spandana Sphoorty

Citibank N.A., on behalf of Valiant Mauritius Partners Limited, Valiant India Opportunities Ltd, and Valiant Mauritius Partners Offshore Limited, has reported the acquisition of shares in Spandana Sphoorty Financial Ltd. This disclosure was made under Regulation 29(1) of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares & Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.

The acquisition involved 1,341,354 shares, representing a 7.74% holding in Spandana Sphoorty Financial Ltd's total paid-up equity capital of 1,73,34,362 shares. The shares were acquired through a listing of security as partly paid shares.

Prior to this acquisition, the acquirer and its PACs held no shares in the target company. The acquisition date was August 18, 2025, bringing the total holding of the acquirer and PACs to 7.74% of the total voting capital.
