Shakti Pumps secures second solar water system order worth INR 347.41 crore

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited (SPIL) has successfully secured a second tranche order for 12,451 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM KUSUM B. This latest tranche, valued at approximately INR 347.41 Crores (inclusive of GST), was fully selected by farmers across Maharashtra.

This follows an earlier tranche of 10,000 SPWPS, which was booked within 1.5 hours and valued at approximately INR 268.88 Crores (inclusive of GST). With both tranches combined, Shakti Pumps has now booked 22,451 SPWPS, totaling INR 616.30 Crores (inclusive of GST), as part of its empanelment to supply and install 34,720 SPWPS.

Dinesh Patidar, chairman of Shakti Pumps (India) Limited, emphasized the company’s strong position and commitment to delivering sustainable and energy-efficient water solutions for agricultural productivity. SPIL, founded in 1982, specializes in solar pumps and related products, manufacturing a wide range of components in-house across two facilities in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.
