Narayana Hrudayalaya's subsidiary boosts CIHL investment by $2.5m

Narayana Hrudayalaya Limited announced today that its wholly-owned overseas subsidiary, Health City Cayman Islands Ltd (HCCI), has invested an additional $2.5 million in Cayman Integrated Healthcare Ltd (CIHL). This investment, made by subscribing to 250,000 ordinary shares at $10.00 each, was allotted on September 12, 2025.

This latest infusion brings HCCI's total investment in CIHL to $10,550,000. CIHL, a wholly-owned overseas subsidiary of HCCI and a step-down subsidiary of Narayana Hrudayalaya, was incorporated on September 28, 2022, and operates in the health insurance industry. The investment aims to meet CIHL's working capital requirements.

For the fiscal year 2025, CIHL reported a turnover (gross earned premium) of $3.9 million, up from NIL in 2023-24. The transaction is classified as a related party transaction but is conducted between a holding company and its wholly-owned subsidiary, with accounts consolidated with the ultimate holding company.
