Bannari Amman Sugars sees internal share shuffle by promoter group

B Saravanan and Persons Acting in Concert (PACs) have disclosed an acquisition in Bannari Amman Sugars Limited, increasing their total stake from 58.70% to 58.74%. This change resulted from an off-market acquisition of 4,900 shares, pushing B Saravanan’s individual holding from 1.40% to 1.44%.

Concurrently, Kerala Alcoholic Products Private Limited, also a member of the promoter group and a PAC, reported an off-market disposal of 4,900 shares. This transaction reduced its holding from 0.04% to NIL, maintaining the overall group's combined shareholding percentage. The disclosures were made in compliance with SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011, dated September 11, 2025.

The acquisition by B Saravanan and the corresponding disposal by Kerala Alcoholic Products Private Limited represent an internal reallocation of shares within the Bannari Amman Sugars promoter group, impacting individual holdings without altering the overall promoter group's control.
